Q1. Can the battery be delivered by sea and air?
Yes, our batteries can be delivered both by sea and by air. We have complete MSDS and test reports certifying safe transport as non-dangerous goods.
Q2. Can I fast charge my battery?
Fast charging is not recommended as it can be harmful to the internal chemistry and overall service life of the battery.
Q3. Can I perform a partial replacement of my battery bank?
Partial battery replacement of lead acid battery banks is not recommended, as older batteries will degrade the performance of new ones.
Q4. What is the typical delivery lead time?
Usually, about 7 days for stock items, around 20 days for half container orders, and 30 days for 20ft full container volumes.
Q5. What is the shelf life of VRLA batteries and how should they be maintained?
Shelf life is limited by the self-discharge rate, which depends on temperature. VRLA batteries self-discharge less than 3% per month at 25°C (77°F). VRLA batteries should not be stored for over 6 months at 25°C without recharging. In hotter climates, recharge every 3 months. Recharge before placing into service after storage.
