Fast charging is not recommended as it can be harmful to the battery's overall service life and capacity.
QCan I perform a partial replacement on my battery bank?
Partial replacement of lead-acid battery banks is not recommended. For optimal performance, the entire bank should be replaced at the same time.
QWhat is the typical delivery lead time?
Approximately 7 days for stock items, around 20 days for half-container batches, and 30 days for 20ft full-container orders.
QWhy does the battery exhibit different capacities at different hour rates?
The capacity of a battery (in Ah) is dynamic and depends on the discharge current. Discharging at a lower current (e.g., a 20-hour rate) allows the battery to deliver more total capacity (Ah) than discharging at a high current (e.g., a 2-hour rate).
QWhat is the shelf life of a VRLA battery and how do I maintain it?
The shelf life is limited by the self-discharge rate, which is temperature-dependent. VRLA batteries self-discharge less than 3% per month at 77°F (25°C). They should not be stored for more than 6 months at this temperature without recharging. In hotter climates, they should be recharged every 3 months. Recharge before use after long storage.
